ABOUT BLUE SPECTRUM

Blue Spectrum is a harrowing call to action for the American public as it brings attention to social hypocrisy and apathy towards its homeless population. Set in Houston, Texas during 2017s Hurricane Harvey, a privileged family (The Robinsons) is forced to welcome a homeless military veteran and underage sex worker/victim into its home. As tropical storm waters flood the streets of Houston, the Robinson home is also flooded with unsettling questions about humanity, integrity, mental wellness, and equality. Being in such close quarters forces the motley crew to see one another, for the first time, as either victims or beneficiaries of circumstance. The Robinsons learn to not only embrace the misfortunate pair, but to also embrace their own struggles with mental health. Over one weekend, the Robinsons find common ground with the underbelly of American society – our nation’s homeless.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

"An epic experience that enlightened me about the past, present, and future of "Freedmen's Town!" As a native Houstonian, "In All Thy Getting" is a must see."
